What is UDJA?

UDJA stands for Utah Dance Judges Association. I am qualified to be a Routine Judge at any dance competition in any state that will accept me. I am also part of UHSAA, which stands for Utah High School Athletic Association. This means I can judge any high school drill dance competition in the state of Utah. Invitationals call me and book me to judge from morning till night!

I joined the judging family in 2015. Interestingly I never had any intention of becoming a judge. My older sister had interest and she knew all of the right things to do and she just asked me if I was interested. My son had just had his first birthday and I decided it was time to get back into the dance world. What better way than to judge?! I have stuck to it ever since then and I have zero intention of ever stopping. I do take seasonal breaks from time to time, as working 3 jobs is killer on the mind! But I love it! I learn so much from judging and I meet so many amazing people along the way!
